Prairie Eco Tech — Company Summary
Smart Technology for a Sustainable Future — Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada · prairieecotech.com
Prairie Eco Tech is an early-stage company. This summary describes the plan honestly, as it stands today.
The problem
One late frost can take a field. One hailstorm can end a season. Every year, Prairie farmers lose crops and income to weather they saw too late. Most weather tools are complex, expensive, or built for very large operations. Small and mid-size farms — the backbone of Prairie agriculture — are underserved.
The product
A simple web dashboard and app with plain-language weather alerts — frost, hail and drought — built on Environment and Climate Change Canada data. The farmer app is live now at prairieecotech.com/app and is free for every farmer, always. We start deliberately small: about 10 beta farmers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, real farms and real feedback, before we grow.
The market
The Prairies are one of the world’s great farming regions — wheat, canola, barley and pulses at global scale. Canada is the world’s largest exporter of lentils and a top producer of peas and other pulses. Every one of those farms faces weather risk every single season. Simple, trusted, local tools have room to grow.
Strategy — three commitments
1. Future demand first — plant protein, pulses, and climate-smart farming services. 2. Eco-friendly at the core — early action means less crop loss, less waste, smarter use of water and inputs. 3. Two countries, one hub — Canadian technology and market strength connected to a Bangladesh agro hub: Saskatchewan pulses feeding Bangladesh; Bangladeshi jute and other quality agro products coming to Canada.
Long-term vision
BioSphere Integra Vancouver — our concept for a next-generation autonomous circular farm in Metro Vancouver: AI monitoring, robotics, closed-loop growing, off-grid solar/wind/biogas energy. It is a concept-stage plan today — it shows where this company intends to go over ten years, not what operates now.
The path
Phase 1 (now): Incorporate · MVP live · ~10 beta farmers · website live · first proof. Phase 2: First revenue · small team · $1M revenue target · founder full-time as CEO. Phase 3: Scale toward $5M+ · 20+ employees · a give-back fund for humanitarian work. Fundraising comes after beta proof — investors will be shown real farmers using a real product.
