Our Story

Prairie Eco Tech is a Canadian AgriTech company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We build simple technology that helps farmers protect their crops, starting with weather alerts for the Prairies — Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Our founder, Abu Mohammed Rabiul Hossain, spent more than 15 years leading health and community programmes with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and partner organizations in Bangladesh — work rooted in rural communities, farming families and hard-to-reach areas, including the Cox’s Bazar region. He holds a Master of Administrative Science in Health Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Vancouver) and an MBA from the United Kingdom.

That experience shapes how we build: start with the people, keep the tool simple, and prove it on real farms before scaling.

Mission: To help farmers protect their crops and incomes with simple, honest, eco-friendly technology.

Vision: A Canadian AgriTech company that feeds people, respects the planet, and connects Canadian and Bangladeshi agriculture — and that gives back to humanity as it grows.

Values: Farmer first · Eco-friendly always · Honest promises · Built for future demand
